Guys, can we talk about one of the most epic videos ever? Our favorite badgal is back, and she’s not fucking around. Just like every other single that the singer (apparently now trap artist?) puts out, we all fell in love with Rihanna’s bumping new track when it first debuted a couple months back. And now the infectious tune seems even better, bolstered by something of a short film directed by the star herself. It’s sexual, it’s violent, it’s over-the-top, and it’s kind of everything.

Rihanna and two of her baddest friends are going on a road trip, complete with a stint on a yacht, pool and hotel parties, blunts and bongs galore, and snacks (yay snacks!). And they invited (well, kidnapped) a special friend: the wife of the “Bitch” who has her money. Unfortunately for her, the hostage only gets to travel in a suitcase while enduring various forms of naked torture at the team’s different pit stops…sorry, girl. But still, doesn’t this all look kind of fun? Badgalriri’s getaway didn’t exactly lighten her mood, though, as the seven-minute flick culminates with some pretty brutal murder. In the end, you could say Rihanna came out on top. Like, she’s literally sitting on a pile of money, smoking a blunt, covered in blood. (Same…)

Hey, remember the “Pon de Replay” days? LOL!!

Of course, we couldn’t talk about a Rihanna video – especially not this one – without getting into the fashion. We could assume that the songstress’ go-to stylist, Mel Ottenberg was behind these A+ getups, featuring pieces by Adam Selman, Philipp Plein, Tom Ford, Maison Margiela, and even a trunk by Goyard (for the body, duh!). Some of the standout looks include a swim ensemble reminiscent of that which the singer wore in her recent V Magazine cover story, a long denim skirt with high boots and a killer blue coat, some latex lingerie (worn best when murdering someone who owes money), a sleek, minimalist outfit on Rih’s bangged buddy, and a sick nose chain on another henchwoman. And even tons of blood couldn’t hide that stunning jewelry worn in the final shot.

Sure, we’re not too keen on violence, especially violence against women and especially not highly sexualized violence against women. But Rihanna just made kind of the most compelling music video ever (because it’s Rihanna, duh), and the imagery is impeccable, even when arguably jarring. Moral of the story: don’t come between a woman and her money.
