While the fashion industry has a nasty habit of discriminating against models of color, we can’t forget about all the restrictions on full-figured fashion, too. However, designer Eden Miller is striving to integrate all shapes and sizes with her plus size line, Cabiria. Chosen by the Fashion Law Institute to be apart of the spring 2014 ready-to-wear shows, Miller’s collection will be the first plus presentation at New York Fashion Week. But the Cabiria designs aren’t meant to be some sort of sideshow, as Miller hopes to achieve a mainstream approach that is more than just “the plus line at fashion week.” Check out Eden Miller’s latest interview to learn more about her work!
