I think my previous report on New York style showed how I feel about the city, and it goes without saying that New York is one of the world’s most inspiring fashion capitals. The streets of the Big Apple are almost like runways; each citizen presents his or her own unique aesthetic and adapts to the changes of the seasons. In my most recent observation, New Yorkers were sticking to their urban roots while negotiating with the warm weather. Check out just a few of my favorite looks I came across this past weekend in New York, and stay tuned for more!
I know I’m not alone when I say I would love to be able to go shopping at literally any time, and that might just become an option in the near future. The Mark hotel is definitely one of the most fashionable hotels in New York City, but its new partnership with Bergdorf Goodman could potentially make it the ultimate in the marriage between style and sanctuary.
The hotel and department store are teaming up to give guests 24-hour access to personal shoppers, while certain cases could allow them late-night entry to Bergdorf itself. Also, exclusive items would be more readily available. In summary, this collaboration between the Mark hotel and Bergdorf Goodman will essentially give people the chance to shop for any items at any hour. And my faith in humanity has been restored.
